Arabic and Persain Calligraphy class at Trinity College with Roxana Muncheri was very informative a relaxing. I expected it would be easy but surprisingly I wasn’t as good as I thought I would be. To start with I was trying to write as normal speed, and calligraphy needs patience and slow calculated movement. Hence, once that’s understood, one can relax and write in one’s own pace. Roxana explained that to be a considered a skilled and professional calligraphist one needs to have done it for at least 20 years, if not more.
